3. All men are corrupt and blamable
(Romans 3:9-20)
9What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.10As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one.”

Paul summed up his complaint against both the Jews and Gentiles in the name of God, and proved to them that none has any preference or advantage over the other. All have sinned, and their sins are tangible. They left the straight way of God, and became slaves of sin, bound by their lusts and self-deceit. Paul included himself in his own complaint, confessing with us that he was sinful.
Have you ever seen anything so disgusting that you became nauseated? Your sin is so disgusting that it makes your spirit and soul nauseated. Compare yourself with Paul’s complaint, and you will recognize that you are he who is described in it.
